ONE OF MY FAVORITE FAMILY MEMORIES PRODUCTIONS: I AM THE GRANDSON OF ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF CERRITOS VALLEY CHRISTIAN (the late Gareth Kok). My dad is a CRC pastor (still associated with Bethany CRC) and lives with my mom who was a kindergarten teacher, in Bellflower CA. They both attended Calvin College. My dad grew up partially in Bellflower and attended the Bellflower Christian Schools, when his dad, my late grandfather, was pastor at 1st Bellflower CRC back in the 1930's. Later, grandpa took them back to west Michigan to pastor a new church in Holland, ...so my dad attended Holland Christian schools also. I myself went to Grand Rapids Christian High and when we moved to Bellflower in 1984 I was a senior in high school and although I briefly practiced with the Valley Christian Football team and made a few nice friends from Valley I ended up finishing high school back in Grand Rapids, and then went on to Calvin College, Calvin Seminary, Fuller Seminary, amonst a few other escapades around the world in missions, et al. I will be 50 years old in January and continue to be an evangelist with a ministry called Mustard Seed Ministries, based in southern California. I spent most of this summer (2016) on the road across the USA doinv evangelism. I am single, still an eligible bachelor but not seriously trying to get married. If God determines it is right for me so be it,otherwise I am content with the status quo. I am doing my best to be a good person but there are a few people who have some bad things to say about me, so beware of gossipers. I've apologized, confessed, and repented for all my major sins of the past, ...so i am FREE by the GRACE of GOD to hold my head up high and carry on, thanks be to Jesus!.
